Terms and conditions for the Ulema medical support

 

 

1. The bearer of the Minacsa card will be entitled to a maximum of 5 visits within a calendar year to medical practitioners as prescribed by the Islamic Medical Association and Minacsa.

2. The medical support will include the bearer of the Minacsa card as well as the direct dependents of the bearer only i.e. spouse and children.

3. The service will include free consultation, check-up and advice.

4. Excluded are dispensation of medication, operation and hospital costs.

5. The Minacsa card is non-transferable

6. As the support is for Ulema, fair usage of the service is presupposed.

7. The bearer of the Minacsa card will liaise directly with the medical practitioner to book appointments.

8. Doctor discretion and decision will be final, neither IMA or Minacsa can interfere in their work. We need to appreciate it is voluntarily service.

9. The Minacsa card as well as proof of identity will be required to be produced prior to consultation.

10. The bearer of Minacsa benefit card will only be able to visit to designated doctor pre-allocated by IMA regional office with prior appointment.

11. The Minacsa medical card benefit scheme is in partnership with IMA, it is a voluntarily services offered by IMA members.

12. Changes to the terms and conditions will be communicated to members of Minacsa

13. Details of medical practitioners can be requested from the Minacsa office or from the regional Islamic Medical Association.

Procedures for Booking an Appointment

 

1. The bearer of the Minacsa card will contact the Islamic Medical Association to book an appointment. 011 837 6717 or 082 961 8100 Moulana Moeneeb Martins

2. A regional doctor will be assigned to the Minacsa member

3. The Minacsa member will book an appointment with the medical practitioner directly

4. The Minacsa card as well as proof of identity will be required to be produced prior to consultation.
